We didn’t charge very much last year, but I know it was still a struggle for some of the moms. Lions is organized as a 501c(3) tax exempt charity, and is going to behave like a charity. Tuition is optional, but there is a suggested “donation” amount that you can PCard to Lions (the code is: LMAF). The donations from each parent will be on the honor system, and will not be monitored as to whether or not a parent has paid. We will *not* turn a child away because the mom cannot pay. The kids need this. Let’s work together to help the kids in the best way possible.
The suggested donation amount is $45 per month for kids, and $60 per month for adults, or (optionally) $5 per class. If you cannot donate that amount, donate what you can afford. Whether you donate or not, everyone is welcome to ALL of our classes.
Begins 10/1/2025 Time is immediately after each and every school day. Location is Bountiful Baby. Student pick up is on or around 5:30pm. We want to serve the needs of our people, so if you miss that time by a bit, we aren't worried about it.
Unfortunately, Lions does not have funding to pay our bus company to provide a bus for the kids. It would be nice if some other company could sponsor the transportation costs. Bountiful Baby is sponsoring the gym space as well as making up the shortfalls in Lions funding, and is not otherwise going to be able to pay for a bus. Parents can also (obviously) car pool.
We have been blessed to have the help of Grandmaster Kim, but he is not an employee, and we cannot require him to teach *any* class. But I can tell you that if the kids come, he will be there a *lot*.
Additionally, we have 7 other instructors that hold from 1st to 3rd degree black belt. Plus we have some high ranking students that can assist. Most classes will have at least two instructors present, but we cannot guarantee which classes will have which instructors. I believe most classes will include Grandmaster Kim, if the kids come.
Some of those instructors are volunteers, and some are Bountiful Baby employees. Bountiful Baby will be paying for the time of the employee instructors, by simply letting them clock their time while teaching. We are hoping other companies might sponsor the other instructors, and pay for their time.
If you want Grandmaster Kim to test your student and award the belt, he will charge $50 for that service. If you want any of our other instructors to test and award belts, there will be no charge.
