  • Our Five Programs

    Our Five Programs

Parents are always welcome to our classes!

    1. Lion Cubs: Generally 5 years old and younger.  We will eventually have something specific for this group, but we don't currently.  Parents can instead sign their children up in our Young Lions program if they wish.

    2. Young Lions: Class age targeted: 1st grade to 8th grade.  This class is taught at Ameris Academy, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.  John Michaels is the primary instructor at Ameris.

    3. Lions: 9th Grade to 45 years old.  This is our adult class.  Students at Vanguard (high school) are in this group.  We also have an adult class at our gym 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm, M-W-F (except holidays).

    4. Silver Lions: Curriculum targets 46 years to 64 years old, but ages 18 to 100 will be accepted.  See this page for information on differences between this program and our regular Lions program.  Contact us if you would like this program set up at your business-- we will come to you.

    5. White Lions (eg, "Silver Dragons"): Seniors, 65+ years old.  This program is a subset of our Silver Lions program, primarily emphasizing the cane-training portion of that program, using Grandmaster Shuey's "Silver Dragons" program for cane training.
